Sports data provider Genius Sports Group has announced that it has entered into a ground-breaking betting agreement with Football DataCo, the data rights holder for all professional football leagues in England and Scotland.
In terms of the agreement Genius Sports, through its sports betting division Betgenius, will be given the exclusive right to collect, license and distribute live in-stadium data from the Premier League, the EFL and Scottish Professional Football League to its hundreds of licensed sportsbook operators worldwide, commencing at the start of the 2019-20 season. These rights were held by rival Perform Group since 2013.

He also said that Football DataCo leads the world through its heavy investment in a product that assures operators can have complete confidence in its data supply to power some of most valuable sports betting content in the world, including all Premier League matches.
