Sports betting and daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator FanDuel Group has announced that it has signed a partnership with US sports-focused streaming service fuboTV.

The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed but the agreement will see FanDuel serve as the exclusive sportsbook, online casino, horse racing, and DFS partner for fuboTV.

The deal will also see FanDuel’s betting data integrated into fuboTV’s streaming platform as well as a media buy and a carriage agreement that brings FanDuel-owned horse racing networks TVG and TVG2 to fuboTV.

Although the deal is only live in New Jersey, fuboTV has revealed that it will be in a position to integrate sports betting data on the platform in other states where betting is legal, in the distant future.

The partnership sees FanDuel being the exclusive sportsbook, online casino horse racing and daily fantasy sports partner that will result in fuboTV not doing similar deals with competitors.  FanDuel will also be the exclusive advertiser across all the above categories on fuboTV.

Adam Kaplan, FanDuel’s Vice President of Content Business and Operations, commented that fuboTV is a sports-centric company, focused on live sports and entertainment content, making them a natural partner.  He added that by integrating their odds and data on fuboTV’s platform, they are truly changing the way people watch live sports.

Min Kim, Vice President of Business Development at fuboTV, said that gaming and sports are natural complements and fuboTV’s industry-leading product offerings will be further enriched with FanDuel’s innovative entertainment solutions.

Kim also said that they are thrilled to select FanDuel as their partner – the first deal of its kind between a virtual MVPD and a gaming company – and integrate their products into fuboTV.
