Internet betting group Kindred (formerly Unibet Group) has announced that it has entered into a three-year partnership with Scientific Games, a global leader in the gaming and lottery industries that will see the two working together to launch a sports betting platform in New Jersey.
In terms of the agreement signed by the parties, Kindred will use the Open Platform System as well as the Open Gaming System in New Jersey.
Kindred Group and Scientific Games will have the option to expand to other states if the collaboration is successful and if Kindred Group is granted gaming licenses. Scientific Games’ technology already powers a number of gaming tables, shufflers and machines in casinos throughout the United States.
Manuel Stan, Senior Vice President at Kindred US, commented on the deal by saying that they are delighted to partner with Scientific Games Digital in the United States, giving them swift access to the market and their coming US customers a truly great gambling experience on a top technology platform.
