Leading Malta based games development studio Pragmatic Play, has announced that it has acquired Extreme Live Gaming, the live dealer subsidiary of Australia’s Novomatic Group, for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition will see Pragmatic Play having the opportunity to add live dealer games to its multi-product portfolio, currently consisting of slot games, scratch-cards and bingo.

Extreme Live Gaming is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority and offers a collection of desktop and mobile Live Dealer Games from its London studios to clients that include LeoVegas Casino, Betsson Casino, Cherry’s ComeOn Casino, BetVictor Casino and Mr. Green Casino. The studio was founded in 2013 and was acquired by Novomatic a year later.

Melissa Summerfield, the Chief Commercial Officer at Pragmatic Play, commented on the new acquisition by saying that the name Extreme Live Gaming stands for quality and innovation and they are extremely delighted to enhance their multi-vertical gaming strategy with this acquisition, further cementing their position as a leading industry provider.
