BETDAQ, betting exchange property of GVC Holdings, has entered into a deal in terms of which it will sponsor the starting stalls at nine UK racecourses owned by racecourse group Arena Racing Company (ARC).

The sponsorship, that runs through until the end of the year covering up to 1,000 races, will allow BETDAQ’s brand to be shown on starting stalls at any unsponsored flat meeting on ARC racecourses. This includes live races across the summer on At The Races and Sky Sports with their Winning Post Live program.

Shane McLaughlin, the Managing Director of BETDAQ, issued a statement on Thursday, 28th June 2018, wherein he revealed that BETDAQ is pleased to enter into this partnership with Arena Racing for the remainder of the 2019 flat season.

McLaughlin went on to say that branding their starting stalls will enable them to further deliver the 2 percent value commission message and build on the positive momentum and goodwill the brand has been receiving from the racing fraternity over a number of months.

David Leyden Dunbar, ARC Director of Partnerships, added that they are delighted that BETDAQ has chosen to build on their racing sponsorship portfolio by becoming ARC’s group starting stalls partner. He added that each of their flat tracks are looking forward to working with the team at BETDAQ to ensure they help to promote the betting exchange across this summer’s flat racing.

ARC was created in 2012 by the merger of Northern Racing and Arena Leisure and owns 12 Turf Tracks and 4 all-weather Racecourses across the UK.
