Microgaming, an Isle of Man-based games developer, has launched a new slot machine titled ‘Poke the Guy” which has been available on the Quickfire platform since Thursday, 31st May 2018.
Despite the fact that ‘Poke The Guy’ does not have any reels or pay lines for winning combinations, players will still have an opportunity to win up to $15,000 during the game’s most profitable rounds.
‘Poke The Guy Slot’ is a fully mobile-optimized game that sees players endeavoring to take down The Guy, a giant monster terrorizing the city.
Players get to choose from a stash of weapons in order to catapult into the Guy which include a yellow rubber duck to a lethal piranha with each object representing a selection of bet values, allowing players the freedom to choose their weapon and wager of choice.
Available multipliers are 2x, 4x, 8x, 12x, 18x or 500x, meaning players can have a jackpot of up to $15,000 with a $30 maximum bet selected.
Players need merely tap on the electrified slingshot for the object to be randomly propelled in the direction of the giant, with every item launched considered to be a bet. The total range of players’ bets are from $0.01 to $30, depending on the amount and the object that has been selected.
The guy randomly appears on the map trying to evade the projectiles while stomping on famous landmarks, each time appearing in a more comical pose than the last. Players who land a successful hit on The Guy will be awarded a random payout with an opportunity to score multipliers of up to 500x the bet.
