Unibet Casino, one of the largest gambling brands across Europe and Australia, has announced that it has entered into a three-year deal with the Professional Darts Corporation in terms of which it will become the new title sponsor of the Unibet Premier League.

The bookmaker has been working in secret with PDC Chairman Barry Hearn in order to mark the start of the partnership and will be surprising a number of the world’s best dart players in a hilarious hidden camera style video.

The Unibet Premier League will run for a period of 16 weeks and will once again take place across the UK, Ireland and Netherlands. However, next year there will also be an exciting first ever stop off in Berlin, Germany at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, leading to the May Play-Offs in London.

The Unibet Premier League will be the 13th Unibet sponsored darts event following the success of the first partnership of the Unibet Masters in 2014.

Unibet, part of the Kindred Group, has since then become the partner of the Unibet European Championship, the Unibet Champions League of Darts, the Unibet World Grand Prix as well as the World Series Finals and Melbourne Darts Masters.

Unibet has also extended the partnership with The Masters and European Championship until next year.

Ebba Ljungerud, the CCO of the Kindred Group, commented that Darts has been one of the fastest growing sports in their sponsorship portfolio in the UK and they are extremely excited about extending their partnership with the PDC to become the new sponsor of the Premier League.
