Each year, various organizations host poker tournaments to support worthy causes and uplift the lives of other people. One organization active in this area is the Charity Series of Poker which will host a no-limit hold’em event this September in Las Vegas to raise funds for The Ability Center of Southern Nevada.
Charity Series of Poker Tournament
The tournament runs on September 16 at 7:00 pm at The Stirling Club in Las Vegas. The no-limit hold’em tournament costs $300 to enter, with players starting the action with an initial stack of 10,000, with 20,000 chips per add on. The winner takes home $5,000 as top prize.
Those keen on extending their help to The Ability Center won’t have to take part in the poker action. They may attend the cocktail hour and silent auction for $100, which takes place at 5:30 pm on the same day, prior to the start of the tournament.
The Ability Center of Southern Nevada supports people with special needs through physical fitness programs.
