After receiving approval from the Pennsylvania gambling authority, the betting giant PointsBet has taken its first steps into the state’s online casino market. This, after rolling out its sportsbook in Pennsylvania earlier this year.

PointsBet secured a license from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and has announced that it will begin a soft-launch period over two days.

If all goes according to plan, PointsBet will launch its online casino for all residents. The gaming platform will supplement the PointsBet sportsbook which went live in February 2022.

The president of technology for PointsBet, Manjit Gombra Singh said that it was an exciting time for the online casino market, and the company is proud to be able to tap into this momentum and introduce its proprietary online casino product in Pennsylvania.

“We’re quickly scaling our online casino business and looking forward to expanding and refining our suite of products throughout the year to deliver more options for our users in PointsBet online casinos.”

PointsBet is a popular brand in Pennsylvania and other parts of the United States. It currently offers its online casino products in multiple states where online gambling is legal and regulated, including Michigan, New Jersey and West Jersey.
