PointsBet, an Australia-based betting business is pleased to  announce that it has entered into a partnership agreement with Penn National Gaming that will see it having an opportunity to offer online sports betting and online casino products in Pennsylvania.

The agreement enabled PointsBet’s wholly-owned subsidiary, PointsBet Pennsylvania to be awarded sports wagering and interactive gaming operator licenses in Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Johnny Aitken, the Chief Executive Official of PointsBet USA, commented that they are extremely excited to be inching closer to officially offering PointsBet’s market-leading products to sports fans and bettors in Pennsylvania in partnership with Penn National Gaming.

He went on to say that with Pennsylvania ranking among the top five sports betting states in the nation, PointsBet is thrilled to be able to soon establish its presence in this lucrative market, and they are appreciative of the support they have received from the state of Pennsylvania and the great people at the Gaming Control Board.

Aitken also said that they ultimately seek to provide customers in Pennsylvania with the best-in-class sports betting and online casino experience.

PointsBet is also in its third year of being the official sports betting partner of the Comcast-owned media group NBC Sports.  According to the operator this deal will be especially significant to its being successful in Pennsylvania.
