MGM Ressorts and BetMGM recently announced that they have entered into an Extended Partnership Agreement with the National Hockey League for several years, continuing a relationship that commenced in 2018.
In terms of the agreement, both MGM brands will continue to have a marketing presence on NHL broadcasts, shows and rinks. In addition, there will be a BetMGM odds integration for the NHL Network’s Showcase Odds segment, usually airing before a night’s matches. The company also sponsored the NHL All-Star’s First Timers section for the weekend’s All-Stars
With a number of states in the USA legalizing sports-betting and adverting pushes are on heavy for teams and the league, betting partnerships have been huge business for the NHL.
The Canadian province of Ontario is home to the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators and will also be liberating its gaming market in April, which will probably result in further marketing deals.

He went on to say that their extension enables them to continue to work together on delivering innovative content programming to connect with their passionate fans.
