Betcris, a leading Latin America-facing gambling operator, is thrilled to announce that it has become the title sponsor of Honduras’ top-tier football competition.
A three-year commercial arrangement sees the premier division become Liga Betcris de Honduras.
The new deal is Betcris’ latest partnership in the Americas, with current clients including Major League Baseball (MLB), US Leagues National Football League (NFL), the Mexican Football Federation, Ecuador’s Liga Pro Betcris and the Federation of Soccer in Ecuador.
Gabriel Nunez Del Arco, the Chief Commercial Officer at Betcris, commented that for Betcris it is a great honor to have an alliance with a Football League in Central America such as the National League of Honduras, where they know that their clubs have a huge historical tradition.
Del Arco also said that with this great strategic move, they seek to contribute to the sports development of the country.
Wilfredo Guzman, President of the Honduran Soccer League, said that the search for continuous improvement has led to the form of a sponsor of great prestige at an international level. He thanked them for their trust and said they could rest assured that this alliance will leave many benefits for national football.
Guzman went on to say that a new path began that day with the Liga Betcris de Honduras.
Betcris is based in Malta and owned by Costa Rica-quartered TV Global Enterprises. The operator performs in 9 Latin American markets, including Panama, Peru and Mexico.
Last year Betcris entered into a multi-year international partnership with MLB in Latin America and can, therefore, use the league’s logos on its website and mobile app.
