Betway, a leading online betting and gaming operator has announced that it has entered into a partnership that will see it sponsor Germany’s prestigious grass court Tennis event, ATP 500’s Noventi Open in Germany.
In terms of the deal, Betway will become the Halle tournament’s newest sponsor and serve as the event’s sole betting partner for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 editions of the tournament.
The lawn tennis tournament commenced 12th June and will continue to 20th June 2021 at Halle, North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. The tournament has crowned six German winners since its inaugural edition held in 1993.
The premier tennis event provides an opportunity for the country to host the top tennis players in the world such as Roger Federer, who won his 10th title in 2019.
Anthony Werkman, Chief Executive Officer of Betway, commented that they are extremely proud to be announcing their sponsorship of the Noventi Open and extending their partnership with German Tennis.
Werkman went on to say that as a global brand, they are committed to working with the highest profile sporting events within the world of tennis which host the biggest names in the sport.
Ralf Weber, Tournament and Managing Director of the Noventi Open, said they are delighted to welcome Betway as a new co-sponsor of the Noventi Open.
Weber also said that the support of Betway throughout the next years will contribute to the continuous development of the tournament and they are looking forward to a long and prosperous partnership.
Founded in 1993, the Noventi Open was recognized as an ATP 500 tournament in 2015. Roger Federer won the most recent edition in 2019, with last year’s tournament cancelled due to Covid-19.
