32Red, a leading British online gambling company, licensed in Gibraltar and powered with software by Microgaming, has posted its numbers for the first half of this year wherein it reported record net gaming revenue of £30.4 million which is up a remarkable 63 percent year-on-year.
The group also recorded the following –
- Online casino division revenue was up year-on-year 24 percent at £32.2 million;
- Revenue from other verticals up 223 percent at £2.3 million;
- Good growth was acquired in the Roxy Palace business in July of last year, with the brand contributing £5.8 million during the half-year;
- Mobile remained the fastest growing vertical in terms of revenue as well as new player acquisition, with revenue up 45 percent year-on-year and delivering more than half overall revenues;
- Flourishing Italian operations, with revenue growing 33 percent year-on-year at £1.1 million.
- Strong organic growth in the group’s principal business – up 32 percent to £23.5 million.
According to the Group Chief Executive Officer, Ed Ware, investment in accelerated, returns-oriented marketing as well as a focus on delivering organic growth had contributed to the successful half-year and the company was looking for further relevant and value-contributing acquisitions.
Ware went on to say that these results reflect the core strengths of the business: their strong brands, first class customer service and marketing expertise. He added that 32Red is in fantastic health with several exciting opportunities ahead. He also said that they have a focused strategy to deliver continued organic growth as well as potential acquisition opportunities and they continue to look to the future with confidence.
