The 2024 Paris Olympics is set to take place from 26 July to 11 August and fans around the world will be making plans to make their way to Paris and be a part of this amazing event. One thing fans in attendance will have to be prepared for is the absence of alcohol!
Only VIPs Will Be Allowed To Drink
A total of 700 events will take place during a 15 day period at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Fans in attendance will be able to enjoy all of the events but without alcohol as France does not allow alcohol sales to take place in any of its sports stadiums based on Evin’s law.
The Organizing Committees for the Olympic Games can seek an exception to the law that will allow the general public to have access to alcohol for a max of 10 events. However, the Organizing Committees have confirmed that they will not look to seek any exemption. Only VIP attendees will have the exception to consume alcohol at the stadium!
VIP fans will get access to bars that offer beer and wine along with champagne!
