12BET, a leading Asian-facing online sports betting operator, has revealed that it has entered into another Asian partnership deal in terms of which it has agreed to become the official partner for the 2017 World Taekwondo Grand Prix and World Para Taekwondo Championships due to be held between Thursday, 19th October and Sunday, 22nd October 2017.
The partnership was arranged by UK based sports marketing agency, Sport Collective, for an event that will see the top Taekwondo athletes in the world travelling to London to compete in the Championships at the Copperbox Arena in London.
The event will see 12BET gaining considerable brand exposure in the UK as it will be broadcast by BBC Sport across all their platforms. It will also be televised broadly around the world, including across the rest of Europe and Asia.
Julia Newton, Chair of GB Taekwondo, commented on the partnership by saying that they are proud to be hosting the best athletes in the world for the Grand Prix and World Para Championships in London. He added that 12BET have recognized the global reach and value of their sport and event and they are delighted to have them on board.
12BET’s Rory Anderson said that he is extremely pleased to be involved with the 2017 World Taekwondo Grand Prix and the World Para Championships.
Anderson went on to say that he is looking forward to 12BET receiving a great brand exposure in key markets. He added that both events should be spectacular and they wish all involved the best of luck.
Anderson also said that as part of the deal, they get LED advertising around the mat, which will be extremely impactful.
