Baccarat
Baccarat is a game that is made famous by the James Bond Movies. With that said, you can think that you're smooth and savvy like James Bond when playing the game, but in reality, you should think of making a profit. Know that baccarat isn't exactly the type of game for the small time gamblers, as it requires a good investment and a good strategy in order for a player to make a profit playing the game.
Baccarat Rules
The game makes use of eight decks of playing cards. The cards are given point values: ace = 1, 2-9 = pip value, 10 and all face cards = 0. At the start of the new shoe, the dealer will reveal one card. This will determine how many cards the dealer will discard. The cut card will then be placed 16 cards from the bottom of the shoe and once the card appears, the dealer will finish the hand, play another, and start a new shoe. If the cut card comes out instead of the first, the dealer will finish the hand and start a new shoe. The game will then start once all the players have bet on the player, banker, or tie. The dealer then proceeds to give 2 cards to the player and banker. Depending on the rules, a third card may or may not be dealt by the dealer.
Big Table Baccarat
Let's learn about the game. Baccarat is usually played in a separate area in the online casino. The minimum bets are usually expensive, so small time rollers might find this game unattractive and you should prepare for that. The players will have the option of betting on either the player or the banker. The dealer position will be rotated around the table, but the player will be able to decide on not dealing in the form of a pass. The dealer will put 2 cards face down tucked under the shoe, then proceeds to giving cards to the player with the biggest bet. The player then takes a look at the cards and gives them back to the dealer. Then the dealer will turn over the cards and one of the casino dealers will announce the totals. Depending on the totals, the dealer will then instruct the player who's dealing the cards to deal a third card. The dealers will then pay the winning wagers and collect the losing ones.
